Twin Fiddle School Show Testimonials
“Students were captivated by the show! It is very interactive and gets everyone on their feet smiling and having a blast! Dancing in the halls and clapping to the beat. Fiddle music is timeless and everyone can participate and enjoy! Performers were hilarious and kept students engaged! Would recommend this show for all ages.”
Ashley Sunderland - Teacher at McLean Public School, McLean SK
“Your performance was wonderful. It was age appropriate, humorous, engaging, educational and just plain fun. The kids and myself had smiles on our faces the entire time! I especially enjoyed how you asked the older students to dance with the younger students and talked about community. In rural settings community is so important and I was glad you spoke about it. I hope to have you guys back for a clinic with the band students.”
Stacy Sandberg - Band teacher McLean Public School, McLean SK
“Once again, just wanted to thank you guys for such wonderful performances both at the school and last night, it was Musical medicine for all of us.
The kids and I chatted about it in class today and they are talking non-stop about the sad chicken dance... Thanks for sharing your talents, warmth, energy, and passion for music with us all!”
Melissa Hynd - Music and Band Teacher - Eaton Composite School, Eaton SK
“A very engaging, musical and inclusive performance for K-6! A time to sing, dance and learn about the fiddle and its amazing music.”
Michelle Iacobucci - Principal - Gordon Terrace Elementary School, Cranbrook BC
"JJ Guy and Gordon Stobbe are a down-to-earth and simply awesome. We all laughed and enjoyed the relatable musical duo that have the energy, talent, and understanding of what engages people of all ages. This is a highly engaging musical hour. Our students remember JJ and the ‘Maestro’ aka Gordon, and talk about them long before they come to the school and long after they leave. Our students look forward to their performance year-to-year and are so excited as they remember the songs and audience participation. There is something for everyone in this hour of incredible musical leadership, whereby children learn about music, making oneself an instrument, and learning to let go and enjoy the moment. If you don’t book this you’re nuts!”
Jerelynn MacNeil - Principal - St. Mary’s Catholic School, Cranbrook BC
"We were extremely fortunate to have JJ and Gordon visit our little corner of Canada. As a musician myself, I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism these men brought. Their performance was a mix of music, dancing, and drama. They had everyone from parents, to small children alike, standing up and being a part of the show. They were funny, and very entertaining all around. If they are back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to have them come back and perform again."
Scott McInnis - Principal - Kimberley Independent School, Kimberley BC
“Bravo, gentlemen, Bravo. I have seen many, many presenters and performers in my career, with varying success at engaging with kids. I was blown away with your ability to not only present music to our kids that was outside of their experience, but to get them up dancing. All of them. They learned new dances, smiled, laughed, and all loved the experience. Ten minutes after the performance, I had received 9 requests from kids that came specifically to me ask about having you back. You are both very talented as musicians, but your abilities to connect and engage sets you apart from the rest. So... when can you come back???? A+++” Dan Kenkel - Principal - Valemount Secondary School, Valemount BC
